Helping Train the Doctors of the Future
We are proud to be a GP training practice, supporting the education of qualified doctors who are training to become General Practitioners.
Who might you see?
At our practice, you may be offered an appointment with a:
- GP trainee (Registrar) – a fully qualified doctor gaining experience in general practice
- Medical student – a supervised learner observing or assisting in consultations
All trainees are closely supervised by experienced GPs to ensure your care remains safe and effective.
Your care remains our priority
- You will receive the same high standard of care
- Trainees may spend more time with you, which can be helpful
- A supervising GP is always available if needed
Your choice matters
We will always respect your preferences:
- You can ask to see a fully qualified GP instead
- You can decline having a student present
- You can stop a consultation at any time
Your decision will not affect your care in any way
Confidentiality
Your personal information is protected in line with:
- UK GDPR
- Data Protection Act 2018
Everything discussed in your consultation remains confidential.
Why this matters
By allowing trainees to be involved, you are helping to train the next generation of GPs—ensuring high-quality care for the future.
