Join a Public Health Community Advisory Group in Hackney!
No qualifications needed - just your lived experience of living, working, studying and using services in Hackney.
What is this group and what will we do together?
The City and Hackney Public Health team works to protect and improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in our community.
We are trialling a group that connects local people with the City and Hackney Public Health service. Its main job is to give advice on how this service can work more effectively with the community to deliver on its plans.
What’s on offer?
- £80 for every meeting you attend as a General Member (6x peryear)
- Free training and support
- Work together to address unfair health gaps in our community
- Build links and trust between communities and the Council
You can apply if you:
- Are aged 18 or over
- Live, work, study or use services in Hackney
- You have a strong interest in and commitment to health, wellbeing, and fairness for everyone
- Can commit to joining 6 meetings over one year
